Summer Cup 2006 Until then, the rest of us wants to have some fun. Also, the second and third car for the winter challenge is still open, so let's test some options. That's why there is the short Summer Cup with 5 races in different cars, see the details below. Important: If you don't have the rights to drive particular cars like the Alpine or the Ferrari, there is any easy way to solve that. Create (e.g. with notepad) an empty text file called "TG2001.DYN" (capital letters!!!) and place it in the GTL directory. Then create a new profile and you will have all cars and tracks available. Sounds strange, but works! The scoring system will give points to the first 16 instead of 8 up to now, as we are more drivers, it gets harder to finish top 8 and the admin also wants to collect some points:
The summer cup will not follow a "best of" scheme like the winter cup, which means all results will be added up to calculate the leaderboard. Time schedule:
The server will be up and running at 6.30 pm local German time. Servername is www.alfacup.de, you will find the server in the lobby of GT Legends. The password is the same as for the winter challenge. The procedere is the same as in the last races: An opt-in thread will be opened in the forum a couple of days before the race, please reply with your in-game name if you want to take part in the race. |
